Antec Gaming Case Two Hundred v2 OK for the price

Excellent!, (What's this?) I'm writing this review on my new rig just built last night in one of these cases.
Great Case, (What's this?) This case is pretty amazing. It comes with a front-loaded hot swap bay for SATA II 2.5" hard drives, two pre-installed case fans, plenty of hard drive bays, bottom-mounted 2.5" drive holes for an SSD or hard drive, and a cable management panel. With all these features, I should have bought another one. This case is just about perfect. The only issue with it is the top-mounted case fan is just a few millimeters too close to where the top of the motherboard goes, requiring my to break off the clips for my power connector for them to fit. As long as I don't move my case while it's on, that isn't a problem. Other than that minor problem this is the best case I've ever bought for a computer build.
For gaming or home theater!, Bought two of these a few months ago when there was a special on the case plus an Antec Neo-Eco 520-watt power supply for basically the price of the case plus an extra $2.
Built a home theater PC using an Intel Core-i3 540 processor, 4GB of memory, a USB wireless-n adapter and a Blu-Ray drive. This thing runs so cool that I disconnected the big fan at the top of the case, making it nice & quiet. We play Blu-Ray and DVD movies, stream Netflix over the wireless connection (good strong signal from next room), and do a little light gaming as well as some photo and video editing. We also run our magicJack internet telephone device on this computer. The Core-i3 processor runs cool and doesn't use much power so the whole project is affordable to have running all day. Next project is to rip our CD collection to the hard drive so the computer can double as a music server/jukebox.
Great Case, (What's this?) I love this case. It's just the right size to fit under my desk, it looks nice, and has plenty of room for expansion. Definitely recommend.
OK for the price, (What's this?)
Awesome budget case!, Pros: - Looks very nice.
- Solid and well built.
- Quiet fans.
- Well ventilated without being a dust magnet

Cons: - No case speaker included.
- Shows fingerprints.

Other Thoughts: This is the nicest case I've ever had. I bought it to replace my old Raidmax Cobra 822.
Great price, keeps things cool., (What's this?) I don't think it gets much better for the price. I love the huge 2-speed fans (with controls on the outside of the case, unlike the Antec 300). This is the second one I have bought - it's a quality product.
This case is fairly quiet. I use it for music production. I have added some acoustic foam and I am going to add some more. It's not designed to be quiet, but I needed something with lots of air flow because my processor runs really hot and the CPU fan is insanely loud (stock AMD cooler).

SilverStone Front Panel and SECC Body Micro ATX HTPC Computer Case GD04B (Black) Quality case, but has a few issues

Great HTPC case for shallow A/V cabinet depth, (What's this?) One of the main reasons I bought this case was it's depth - I only have 15" or so available depth in my A/V cabinet - and it fits perfectly with my other components. If you have a limited depth as many of us do, this is something to take into consideration when building an HTPC.

    PROS:
    - Solid construction. Attractive and well designed. Looks great in the A/V cabinet.
    - The black stained brush tectured aluminum finish looks great. Please note that the front is not real aluminum, it's a textured plastic.
    - Small but with plenty of space for Micro-ATX motherboard, full size ATX power supply, full size optical (DVD/Blu-Ray) drive, two HDs and three expansion cards. Did not use all of it, I only have one HD, Blu-Ray drive, and no expansion cards. If you're gonna use all slots it might be a good idea to get a modular power supply.
    - Lots of internal space. The inside arrangement of the case is great, it all makes sense when assembling it.
Great HTPC case., (What's this?) I bought this case to replace a more sophisticated LC11B-M case I bought a long time ago. That previous one was much smaller, had a remote, VFD, etc. Because it used riser cards and opened from the bottom, it was a hassle to service. It also was really cramped inside. This new case was much less expensive, roomier, quieter and more. I was really impressed with the temps inside the case now, as well as the overall noise level. The full size card slots and power supply make upgrades very simple. It looks great, even though it's a lot taller than I'm used to.
Nice case, but it has issues, (What's this?) Pros: The case looks very nice and is stronger than most towers. Phenom II with stock cooler fit nicely. Full size power supply still leaves enough room for two hard drives. The standard power supply works fine and there is room for the cables if you want to save some money and avoid the modular power supply.

Cons: The fans are horrible. The first fan failed the first day - it began by making a chirping noise like it had a bad bearing. The others are fairly loud and getting louder. The optical drive door cover is straight and will not mount nicely to a curved blu ray logo door (like the asus model). It is not deep enough to mount to the blu ray door without the logo plate on it. There are a few more hoops to jump through than with the standard tower, so plan a little extra assembly time.

The fans are the real annoyance and I'd return the whole thing if it wasn't such a pain to get the MB/optical/hardrive back out. Luckily, the fans can be replaced without removing everything.
Slick HTPC case, (What's this?) I've got this bad boy loaded up with all my HTPC gear, and love the finished product. The case looks great and stays fairly cool. The fans were a little load for my tastes, so I have them undervolted (5v). Before running them at 5v, I probably would have given this 4 stars due to the fan noise. They're silent now. 5 stars.
Good case, wrong parts, (What's this?) Case is nice, excellent fit and finish. Only one major problem. The small box in the package that contains the optical drive stick-on panel, user guide, etc. was for a different model. Had to contact Silverstone to send me the correct part.
Small outside, spacious inside, (What's this?) Small form factor, but a surprising amount of internal space. You really don't have to make many concessions when it comes to component selection. If you can forgo an optical drive, you can install a large CPU cooler, to go along with a decent sized graphics card, and full size ATX power supply. So getting gaming tower performance into this box is very feasible.

My only gripe is the fans run a bit fast, and swapping them out for three 800 RPM fans increases the overall cost significantly. I wouldn't say they're loud, but they're not ideal for HTPC usage. Also, the power light is a bright blue LED...really, Silverstone? I need to open it back up and disconnect the header for that.
Great looking and built case, (What's this?) This case is attractive, well built, and fits perfectly with any solid home AV system. It doesn't look out of place at all.
Great case for the money, (What's this?) This case looks great & works well. I added a Bio-star Th61 ITX board and it fit, I was also able to still utilize the pcie slot on my board.

The fans are fairly quite, I would compare all the fans running to sound about the same as my Xbox (slim)

the black metal strip that sticks to the DVD drive is slightly off color, but as long as you don't have it in direct light you will not be able to notice it.

As far as fit of all my components, everything fit without issue, except I needed to add an extension to my sata connectors due to how all the drives had to fit into the case.
Quality case, but has a few issues, (What's this?) This case is made of high quality materials. The face is about 1/4" thick aluminum, I guess. Very solid. I was suprised how well the stick-on drive door cover works and you would never know by looking at the outside. It looks great inside my cabinet with my Sony receiver. Now these are the only two components in my cabinet and they are the same size and color, giving it a very clean look.
Excellent case with shallow depth, (

SilverStone ATX/Micro ATX Mid Tower Case with Tool-less Installation Design PS05B (Black) Quality Case

An exceptional (5-star) case by SilverStone, (What's this?) The case was more than adequate for everything I wanted to do. Great airflow and the CoolerMaster Hyper 212 cooler on my CPU fits perfectly. It is on an AMD Phenom II with compatible ATX motherboard- side fits a little "tighter" than it should but the thumbscrews are still easy to put in and everything holds well.

Airflow, as mentioned, is great. I installed 2 intake fans- one at the front and one at the bottom. The front fan is the SilverStone Case Fan Sleeve Bearing with 120mm 9 blades 26.6 Db FN121 (A) - Retail . On the bottom I installed the SilverStone 120mm Shining Blue LED Case Fan with Rifle Bearing Noise Level 26.6 Db FN121-BL which is a Rifle bearing, so supposedly superior to the Sleeve style for horizontal mounting. The bottom fan is LED and gives an attractive blue "underglow" effect to the PC; it looks spectacular. The sleeve fan included a "grill" which was installed on the LED fan instead as the front-fan comes with an included filter/grill system and was not near any wires. My 1gb GTX 460 and Phenom II are beasting all games I play (currently Battlefield Bad Company 2) and can run for hours without reaching dangerous or unreasonable temperatures. Air exiting through the rear exhaust is always of a comfortable warmth.
Goddamn this is a good case., (What's this?) First off, I'm a bit of a Siverstone fanboy. I love the design of their products, and the construction has consistently been well above expectations. This case is completely tool-less, which is relatively helpful. It's slick as hell looking, and there is a (small) blue LED underglow right above the logo/grill. The only downside for me has been the expansion slots all come with "tear away" covers. So say you get rid of an expansion card, and don't fill it's spot. Well, since you cannot attach the expansion card covers that it came with, you're left with gaping holes in the back of your machine. But you can't beat the price, or the functionality, so 5 stars regardless.
    Quality Case, (What's this?) Pros:
Just read the product description and highlights...
    quick release everything
    3982 slots for fans
    small
    PSU mounted on the bottom
    well organized
    edges are rounded off
    light weight

    Cons:
not hugs amounts of cable management room behind the mobo
basic case in terms for quality materials

    Other Thoughts:
I love this case, I bought it to house my old PC when I upgraded. I own an Antec P182 case, and this Silverstone is in no way comparable to the Antec in terms of sheer quality and robustness... However, the antec was 4 times the price, and the Silverstone has all of the necessary features of an awesome case, and some I hadn't seen or thought of before.

Seriously, 40 dollars for this case, buy some case fans, you will NOT be disappointed. One of the best cheapo cases I've ever seen, very good value for your money.
Well-Designed Case for the Price, (What's this?) I bought this case to house a new PC to replace an HP that died for one of my parents. I managed to salvage quite a few parts from the HP, so the budget on this build was a little higher than would otherwise be the case.
Great case for the money., (What's this?) Pros:
    - well packaged
    - semi-toolless design. some component installs still required a phillips.
    - easily fit my micro atx board with coolermaster Hyper N 530 cpu cooler.
    - fairly attractive case.
    - plenty of fan spaces.
    - PRICE, especially considering it is a SilverStone.

    Cons:
    - faceplate. I don't like the way it comes off or how it is held on. would prefer it had hinges. the snaps are flimsy.
    - documentation. you get some, but it is lacking entirely.
Nice case, but could be better..., (What's this?) With all these huge "gaming" cases on the market, the simple, elegant case designs are hard to find at a decent price nowadays.

I've always admired Silverstone cases for their build quality and nice designs, so for a client build, I decided to go with this model.

For the most part, it's a nice case and I really want to like it but...

#1 - Cable Management - I'm used to the extra space behind the motherboard tray to hide extra power cables (Cooler Master & NZXT have plenty of space). From the pictures, it looks like there is enough space to hide cables. Unfortunately, the case is way too narrow so there is not enough space behind the mb tray. I could hide maybe one or two cables, but that's it!

#2 - Hard Disk Rack - This area is poorly designed. After inserting the hard drive (what's with the strange 2 brackets holding the hard disk in place?) the sata cable and sata power plugs protrude from the insertion point. The power sata is not angled so closing the case door pushes against the cable. An angled sata cable barely fits as well. This is due to the narrow design of the case again.

    #3 - Please...
Good case for any build, (What's this?) This case worked great for the general use/gaming PC I just built, AMD Phenom II X6 1055T with Asus AMD 870 chipset motherboard, Cooler Master CPU Cooler, 4GB of ADATA RAM and an ATI Radeon HD Radeon HD5570 soon to be upgraded to a 6xxx.

The only thing I could think of is that if you are planning on using a large CPU cooler with a 120MM fan this case might not be wide enough. I used a Cooler Master TX3 which has a 92 MM Fan and it fit with some room to spare.

  • Great cooling performance with five 120mm fan slots
  • Vibration dampening mounts for hard drives
  • All black painting inside with stylish look
  • Mid-size tower chassis for all around integration
  • Convenient tool-less installation for nearly all components

  • Great cooling performance with five 120mm fan slots.Vibration dampening mounts for hard drives. All black painting inside with stylish look.Mid-size tower chassis for all around integration.Convenient tool-less installation for nearly all components. The Precision series PS05 is an excellent advancement for mid-size tower chassis. It is designed to be both high performing with up to five 120mm fans and easy to assemble with almost all tool-less mechanisms for installing components. Thoughtful details from high-end chassis designs such as all black interior, cable tie down spots and vibration dampening hard drive mounts are part of this model’s strength. For those requiring a quality enclosure with great performance and ergonomics, the PS05 is an excellent choice.

Cooler Master CM Storm Trooper Computer Case SGC-5000-KKN1 Great Satisfaction! No disappointments!

Minor Issues, This case is brilliant, although when buying it consider it's size this thing is HUGE. It has great options for cooling and the stock fans are very quiet. The reason for only 4 Stars is because the rubber that coats the front peels off very easily, other than that a brilliant case with huge amounts of space to customise, really easy to work with. Consider the HAF series when buying this case.
THE Case for Gamers, I recently bought this case for my new gaming rig, and it more than fits the bill. I am using a Gigabyte MBoard with an i7 2600k and even with the CoolerMaster V8 CPU cooler/fan, I have room to spare for other items. The case is innovative, well designed and clearly a quality item.
CM Storm Trooper, (What's this?) I love this case! It has a very nice feature set, especially the handle, the x-dock, and the hide away storage area. The only minor concern that I have is the fact that it doesn't have a usb 3 to usb 2 internal header which for anyone with a motherboard more than a year old is an annoyance. I won't knock a star off for that because I really love everything else. The hard drive mounting system is also superb because it gives them airflow and I was able to also direct a little bit of that air down the center of my crossfire setup (4-5 C improvement). Also, cable management is a joke and it can hold any xl-atx motherboard. I mounted a 240 radiator in the top with push fans without any motherboard issues. You can also fit a single fan underneath the roofing of the case, but I wish it would have allowed 2 for full push-pull (handle mount impedes this possibility). 280 rads are also possible as well as a 2 fans mounted on the side panel (which again was very nice for crossfire as well as for ascetics).
Great Satisfaction! No disappointments!, Where to begin... To start, this case is the best and easiest installation of any other cases that I have owned/purchased thus far. I originally had an NZXT Titan prior to this case. The titan was a mid-tower and seemed to work alright for me. The differences arise with the fact that the CM Stormtrooper has excellent cable management. It IS a full-tower case so it is therefore very roomy and incredibly easy to work with. Installation of all my components was a very smooth ride from my NZXT case to the Stormtrooper. There are just too many things to love about this case. The hidden tool compartment is excellent. I was nervous about this at first considering the lid only had a mere clip, until I noticed two holes for individual screws to be placed. <---Excellent. The very intriguing thing about this case is that the HDD bays can be shifted a full 90 degrees according to your preference. Doing so IS easy but requires a bit of extra work. By default my case came with the fans rotated to the left instead of the front of the case, which I soon changed. There is also much room for fans. Considering that the default number of fans installed in the case is 4 ( two 120mm front fans, top 200mm fan, and rear 120mm fan), there is still more room for two 120mm side fans as well as a bottom mounted 120mm fan, which I find to be fascinating! Also, everyone knows that dust is a HUGE and constant problem . This fan includes several air filters which can be pulled out and cleaned and used again, thus minimizing the fear of dust. I gave the case five stars because I felt that the case was built to serve and last, as well as the overall ease of the insertion of the components.

  • Supports up to 14 hard-drives for future upgrades
  • The first with an easy-to-carry handle, and hidden tool box for storing private goods
  • Easily removable dust filters on intakes
  • The first full tower chassis with two 90 degrees rotatable 4-in-3 HDD modules
  • A built in fan controller for cool or quiet operation

Continuing with its tradition of revolutionary design and cutting edge technology, CM Storm surpasses the competition with the Trooper chassis. The Trooper contains a wealth of features coveted by most gaming enthusiasts, including USB 3.0, external 2.5" and two 90 degree rotatable HDD cages for easier hard-drive installation. The Trooper is the first full tower with a carrying handle for easy transport.

Antec Dark Fleet DF-35 Gaming Case - Mid-Tower (Black) Like it

Great case for the money., This case is sturdy, yet lightweight, and has plenty of room inside for your average to somewhat extreme gamer.
The cable management design could have been a little better, but a knowledgeable builder will know they can get extension cables, and wire wrap for cheap to extend, and hide wires properly.
The doors on the 5.25 tray's can get in the way of wiring if you hook a headset, or mic to the front panel jacks, and any optical drives placed behind these will also have the trays get hung up on them, you can easily remove them if necessary.

Used this case on two builds, and overall the customer, as well as myself were happy with the case for the price.

Put a core i5 2500k in, with a Zalman CNPS 9900 MAX CPU cooler, and OC'd it to 4.5 GHz with ease, at 100% load after 5 hours core temps never got over 64C, at idle cores are around 19-24C
This this move air really well, and to me considering the amount of air moved, it is still fairly quiet, I never head it with my headset on...
"Cool" Computer Case, (What's this?) This computer tower if full of features, looks like a real muscle machine, but is surprisingly quiet. Lot of expansion bays, and you can see everything through the transparent side of the case. I love it.
Like it, (What's this?) ordered it and it came in 2 days. very impressed. i havent built my own system inna while buy this case was a pleasure. plenty of room for whatever ud need. great cooling. fans are adj speeds...
Over all great chassis, beware of the PSU cable length to motherboard, (What's this?) Great looking chassis. Sturdily built and lots of convenient features. Since the
PSU is mounted at the bottom, be sure your PSU's internal power cable to your
motherboard is long enough. Otherwise, it will be challenging to conseal it behind
    the cable management area.

Thermaltake Dokker Mid-Tower Computer Case with Single Bay HDD Docking Station and High Airflow Design VM600M1W2Z Very good case for the money and good looking

Very good case for the money and good looking, (What's this?) I have a version of this case without the HDD Docking station on the top and got this one for another computer build. I like the looks of the case and it works very well for a mid tower.
you get what you pay for, (What's this?) Or less.

The case is kind of cheap but you can't expect a lot more for the money I guess. As other reviews note, the top fan is nowhere near 200 mm, you'll be lucky to squeeze in a 170 mm one. With return postage, that's $10 down the drain.

In my case the fairly flimsy hard drive brackets were present only on the left side. Guess QA doesn't check parts not immediately visible. TigerDirect (seller) wants me to pick it up with the manufacturer which I might get around to do. Or not as I have some doubts regarding the suitability and longevity of the brackets anyway.

As for the dock on top, the carelessly chosen internal connector blocks the top 5.25" slot. Not sure if anything fits in there other than, say, a 3.5" or smaller disk with side brackets. This is stupid as simply choosing flatter versions of the same cables would've sidestepped the issue altogether. QA failure again, this time in the design phase.
Decent case, The motherboard that went into this case an Asus Crosshair IV Extreme. There's not much info available on cases specifications that will fit an eATX board but this case is able to accomodate the 12.5" video cards so that was more than enough space for the board. I was sold on the top dock.

The plus is the case is light and it has lots of mounts for fans. The internal bays are screwless to secure them with a plastic locking mechanism.

The cons about this case is the top dock makes the top most 5 1/4" opening unusable, the cabling they used blocks it. The dock doens't seem to work in XP so it may be useful if you are using Windows 7 or Vista.

The powersupply placement is odd at the bottom, because I re-used a 500W Antec Earthwatt PS the cables was barely long enough to plug in the eATX to power the board. There is a 4 pin power connector on the mobo but because the PS is at the bottom it blocks it.

If you have a modular PS where you can plug in only the cables you need then this isn't a worry but the length to reach certain spots may.
If your budget concious, buy it!, (What's this?)

Thermaltake Case Vn400a1w2n Commander Usb 3.0 Mid Tower Black Retail Disapointing fan / MB placement

Disapointing fan / MB placement, I wanted this case mainly because it had room for plenty of HDDs, USB 3 port on the front, and it has lots of space for 120mm case fans.

The MB mount is too close to where the fans at the top mount so if you're like me and have memory modules at the top of the MB then you can't use one of the fans. The other top fan I can't use because the power connector to my particular MB is at the edge and the fan is again in the way... The front fan mount described in the product description has no obvious way to mount and I simply gave up on it. The included fan, while quiet @ just 1K rpms, blows just a soft wisp of air. I installed two of my own 120mm fans - one in the side port blowing on the video card. About the only good the fan mounts at the top of the case do is discharge heat by means of convection.

    On the plus side:
Tool-les 3.5" and 5.25" installation. (I had no problem with HDDs and a 3.5" USB to Memory card reader as well as the optical drive)
Side mount 120mm Fan blows right over video card
IMO the case look great with a black faced optical drive and 3.5" memory card reader
If you don't need all 5 internal HDDs there's plenty of room for a very long video card - the manual states 320mm long but I think that would leave no room for power connectors.

In the end I was able to get everything to work and considering the price and good looks I think there is value here.

    Slimline Micro Pc Case 350PS

Solid, tiny case full of almost everything you need, I was skeptical about this case before it arrived, thinking because of the price it might not even suit my needs. I had a small space for an HTPC that the 5" and 6" high cases wouldn't fit so my alternatives were few.

What a pleasant surprise! The case is nicely manufactured (and a carbon-copy of one from Rosewill) and looks good. It is solid both inside and out. The 350W power supply, which is a bit slight in thw wattage department holds on for an all-in-one micro board, e7300 Intel chip, Blu-Ray drive and 3 hard drives. I found I could even squeeze in a fourth if the mobo had more than 4 sata ports! The power supply is very specific to this case, so if it goes out in the future, you will have a problem.

There is an ingenious slide-in cage for the optical drive and two hard drives that makes it easy despite the small space to get the rest of the PC put together first. Then a little power and data cable planning and it all fits together. A slight design improvement might have been the addition of two drive spots under the cage instead of the one - I think there's just enough space. I had to fit the third hard drive upside-down on the case lid with screws in the center-rear vent holes - that's where I would have put the fourth too.

There's a 3-speed fan on the side for ventilation and it works well but it does bear the brunt of case cooling. The short-stalked manual switch is a bit hard to use after you close the case up so figure out what speed you want before you tuck your PC away after it's built.

The case would make it hard to use a graphics card and it would have to be half-height so plan accordingly. Mobos with on-board graphics are perfect, they use less power and these days you can get GeForce 9000s on them. Just don't expect to build a gaming PC with this case.
Excellent case with only a minor flaw, (What's this?) This is one of the most intelligently designed cases I've owned. I needed a small form factor case that fits nice on a desk with a monitor on top. Most of these small cases don't fit that bill. The 350 watt power supply gives the board nice overhead. No other case had a power supply close to this at the time. The slide out unit for mounting DVD, hard drive, etc. Makes putting this computer together a dream.

The only two things that bothered me and lowered my rating are the manual case fan included. I upgraded to a fan controlled by the motherboard. The other is the same complaint many have made. The front bezel is off kilter compared to the mounted peripherals. I also tried to adjust the DVD without success. Neither of these would prevent me from buying this case again. It really is an excellent case overall.
Probably best SSF case available, (What's this?) Very quiet and good connectivity on front panel. Hard drives will definitely get warm to hot in this case.
Nice case, (What's this?) The lift out cage that houses the hard drive and the 2 external bays makes it easy to install the peripherals. Keep in mind, being a smaller case plugging some of the jumpers and other items is bit tight. But that's why, they make needle nose pliers. The outside finish is nice, but does show finger prints.
Great desktop case, (What's this?) This is the second time I've built a system in a Minuet case. Even though I was completely happy with the first one, I did a lot of online shopping to see if there was another case (possibly a bit cheaper) that I might want to try this time instead. There wasn't. For my requirements, this case is perfect. I wanted a generic system for the office, with a good processor, plenty of memory, and a big hard drive. The onboard video is good enough, so I don't need any expansion cards at all. Therefore, potential concerns about space inside the case, cooling capacity, and power supply wattage are non-issues for me. What I do care about is having a case that is well-made, looks nice, and doesn't take up much space on my desk.

For me, using the computer case as a monitor stand makes sense for three reasons: 1. You don't need to buy a separate monitor stand, or make one out of a couple reams of office paper or some random box, to avoid having to look downhill at your monitor all day. 2. The front panel is right in front of you.
Average HTPC Case, (What's this?) I have custom built 4 different PC's using cases from other Manufacturers. This was the case the I chose for my first HTPC build. Its smaller size makes it suitable for an HTPC. However, it is still as long as a traditional case, so I have to be careful with how I position in in my Home Theater Cabinet. The power supply is adequate for my needs, but the air flow in the case could use some work. I ended up mounting an additional 80mm fan on top of the case to blow air down into the case and onto the CPU. That helps keep my chip temps around 104F when playing blu-rays or surfing the web. Game playing takes the temps up to the 145F range. (I'm using the stock cooler and Fan on a Core i3 2100.) Like others, I have a small gap around my Blu-ray drive and the front bezel, but it's not noticeable when the case is in the cabinet. I only rated it 3 stars because of the poor air flow and it doesn't handle a SSD drive very well at all. Most of the SSD adapters I looked at would not work with the case. I finally had to go with the Icy Dock to get it to work. I wouldn't want to mount 2 HDDs in this case. Fortunately, I'm using NAS for my media drive. It's a good case, but if I build another HTPC, I will look at alternatives.
Perfect case for HTPC, (What's this?) First of all, really fast (4 days for free) shipping from amazon.com.

It's a beautiful and sturdy slim case that I have been hoping for. I can never say no to 80 plus PSU. Just spent about 1 hour to move all he parts from my old case into this baby.
Very nice Micro ATX case, (What's this?) This case was perfect for my needs. I wanted a case to house one hard disc, one optical drive, one memory card reader, and I wanted access to at least one USB port on the front. Perfect. When you are building a computer in a small, Micro ATX case, it is cramped. That is to be expected. The finish is beautiful. The case looks, feels, and is very sturdy and well built. But like many other people who have written reviews about this case, I am not completely satisfied with the way my optical drive and card reader fit in the case. Both sit about one sixteenth of an inch behind the front bezel. Try as I might, I cannot get the cage to move any further forward to make the accessories flush with the front of the case. Likewise with the mounting tabs for the hard disc. I had to get out my pliers and bend the tabs about one sixteenth of an inch to make them align with the holes in the disc. I am hoping that only one 80-mm fan is enough to keep the internals of the computer cool. I trust that Antec has done their homework and designed this unit to cool efficiently with only one fan.
another awesome antec case, (What's this?) I needed a small footprint pc to be in an open area of my house. This case fit the need because of size and the feet for it to stand up vertically. The case itself is made of strong and sturdy materials much like my htpc (nsk2480). I have an old (& loud) coolermaster cpu fan but this case is very quiet. Fitting the mobo was painless and installing the hdd/dvd drive were easy because of removable mounts. The other plus I liked was the front activity light. Even when powered on the light doesnt show lit (only when there's activity). When I turn off the lights to watch a movie there's no blue light distracting my viewing. So my only drawback to this case was the power supply cabling. Even though the case is small the cabling seems too long and has little organization to maximize on airflow.
Good and cheap, I bought this case for my HTPC build, and so far it has been pretty good.

It looks great on my desk, and the LEDs in the front aren't too obtrusive, in fact one of them turns off after boot up. The 'piano black' chassis color and the silver front give it a classy looks. The only downside to that is it is hard to find matching DVD/Bluray player.

The unit is perfect for my build, as I have an mATX mobo, 1 hard drive, 1 DVD player, and an internal IR receiver that I fit in the 2.5" bay slot. You could include more hard drives for sure, as there is space, but I am not sure how you would securely do that.

Over all, I am glad I purchased this product. I was looking for a low cost case that had the look of an HTPC wihtout all the fancy nobs on the front. Only 2 USB ports, sound jacks, and an eSATA port which is exactly what I needed.

The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because the instruction manual is very uninformative, and the power button on the front feels a little flimsy when you press it.

    Hope this helps.

Diablotek Elite ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - CPA-0280

Great case for the price, a couple flaws, (What's this?) This computer comes with a 450W PSU. This is a huge plus and is ideal for system builders like myself. It is a very slick case that reminds me of many of the HP desktops. the PSU is a diablotek model PSDA450A. It has the proper connections for all modern components. The case came with a missing slot on the back where the graphics card typically goes. This was a bit unfortunate due to the fact that the system I was building did not have a dedicated graphics card.

This case was not designed for cable management as there's really not much to zip tie to.

Thermaltake Dokker Lite Mid-Tower Computer Case High Airflow Design VM60001W2Z

Very Happy, (What's this?) First of all I got the case in only 3 days...way faster than the 7-10 it was supposed to take. I haven't gotten all of my parts together yet so i havent actually used the case yet but i couldn't wait to take it out of the box and check everything out!
I am loving this case...it is huge! I got the lite model because people were saying that the one with the docking station made it impossible to use the top slot but if you plan to use two fans in the top (which i am/ then the manual says not to use the top slot anyway...kind of a fail since why even put it there if you cant use it...but not a big enough issue to make a difference to me however it really then only has 3 5.5 inch bays not 4 but thats all i need.
I saw lots of complaints about the front panel, people saying they had to force the speaker plug into the hole and that the on and reset buttons were flimsy....i tried my speaker and it fit just fine without using any pressure at all, the USB ports worked fine too as did the buttons. The clips to install the drives were easy to use and worked just fine...it would be nice if they included 2 for each bay instead of having to use ones from other bays but i am sure you can probably buy more of the clips if needed. I LOVE all of the fan spaces as that is why i got this case and the little dust filters on the bottom and front are great...just wash them and put them back in....makes it easier to keep everything dust free..again though it would have been nice if they would have included more of them especially for the top and sides but i will just go get some screen and make my own.

Cooler Master HAF ATX Mid Tower Case, RC-922M-KKN1-GP (Black)

Great Sturdy Case!, (What's this?) This is my first time building a custom computer so every time I order something I am extremely nervous. I keep thinking to my self "Did I make the right decision!" but as soon as I got this case in I knew right away it was a great decision! This all metal case is very sturdy from what I can tell and the extra fans built in are quite a nice touch! So in short. Sturdy, Stylish, Tons of space, and Extra fans :D I don't know if it just me being so excited to build a awesome computer, but I cannot find anything wrong with it.
Spacious, well ventilatd and a good case for my 1st build, (What's this?) First off I will say this case is large, much larger than my dell dimension e510. This is far from a bad thing since it allows a lot of space to work with. The case's two 200mm fans, top and front, provide nice ventilation, especially the top one, and the overall design provides a ton of space for air to flow. I found this case easy to work with and cable management was fairly easy even though i did not have a modular power supply. I installed a Corsair H50 CPU cooler onto my gigabyte z68x ud3h b3 mobo and the cut-out back of the motherboard mount in the case was a little small and made mounting the Corsair's rear bracket a little tricky, but it worked out in the end. Be aware that the 2pin cable for the led power for the front 200mm fan is very short and if you want to hook up multiple led fans it might be an issue. I plan to get another 120mm fan for the bottom. I have tried to include all the issues I encountered and overcame building with this case. I am very satisfied with the case and would highly recommend it to anyone.
Affordable, Quiet, Cool, (What's this?) Bought this case for a new build and am extremely satisfied so far.

First of all the tool-less parts are very helpful for quickly swapping hardware, however the 3.5" drive bays seemed like they were a little "non-universal" when I put in my Seagate barracuda. It sort of bowed the plastic drive bay housing, however eventually sat in there enough that I wasn't worried.

Second, the main reason you buy the HAF series is the airflow.
Great case! Big, (What's this?) Great case, love it, and plenty of room.
    OMG!, (What's this?)
Difficult to assemble, great to have, (What's this?) I've had my eye on a Cooler Master case for about a year. My last case had 120mm fans which were much quieter than the 80mm fans I had in prior cases. I figured that 200mm fans would be that much quieter compared to the 120mm fans. I have found this to be partially true. While the fans themselves are quieter, the nature of this case doesn't lend itself to containing the internal sounds of the machine (hard drive, CPU fan, etc) since this case is essentially 1/3 composed of metal mesh. I suppose that's the tradeoff of this design.

PRO: Solid construction. It would take a lot to damage the exterior of this case. Looks impressive, especially with the red LEDs on. Moves a lot of air and protects my heat-sensitive components (primary reason for my decision).

CON: A real pain to assemble, partially because the instructions were severely lacking. For example, the CD-ROM slot has a single button to release the drive. Took me forever to figure out that you press and release to toggle the pins to secure the drive. The hard drive was difficult to slide in. I almost had to force it.
GreAt case very roomie, (What's this?) The haf 922 is a great case that flow massive air to keep your pc cool. Great design. Stands out in any room.
CM HAF PC Case, (What's this?) Awesome tower, it was in great shape, runs quiet.. and great airflow with tons of room inside. Cant beat it for the price. I love it.
Great case!, (What's this?) Great case. Fit everything with room to spare. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a mid tower case but alot of room. I was originally going to go with a full tower, but after reading many reviews I decided to go with the HAF 922. I am very happy with my choice.
Greate case. Fans run very quiet, (What's this?) I bought this case for my recent build where parts were bought on Black Friday 2011.
(** The shipping is really long with Amazon free shipping **)
This case is huge and heavy. Very spacious, so I have no problem installing Corsair H80 liquid cooler (which is taking a lot of space. I guess this cooler wouldn't fit into a regular mid tower ATX/Micro ATX case).
The only reason it gets 4 stars is the window side panel behind the motherboard is not aligned with CPU slot of Asus P8Z68-V Pro. This makes it too hard to install the cooler onto the CPU without removing the motherboard (which I am not supposed to do so).
Overall, great case for easy install and upgrade. Not bad.

    5.25" To 3.5" Adapter for 300

5.25 to 3.5 adapter, (What's this?) My new build only has 5.25 spaces exposed. I needed a card reader and most of them were 3.5 inches. This little adapter fit and came with screws. it was easy to use and works great. The price was ok too. Thank you Amazon.
Perfect fit for the Antec 300, (What's this?) Gives a good, clean look to the front of your Antec 300 case when using a 3.5" accessory. Easy installation into case, easy installation of components into the adapter.

Perfect, (What's this?) I bought this for the Antec 300 Illusion and I couldn't have been more pleased. Solid construction, easily mounted into the case and FIT. All the spaces were even and the faceplate was flush with front of the case.
